Križevci Blues Festival 30 i 31 kolovoz 2024
Teško da sam mogao odoliti ovakvom plakatu! Naime, ovaj festival je na neki način kruna i potvrda moje medijske promocije bluesa još tamo od 1996.godine kada sam po prvi puta krenuo u ovu avanturu, doista ne znajući u što će se ona pretvoriti. Danas, sve što sam želio je da svom gradu po prvi puta ponudimo nešto što se do sada još nije imalo prigode ni čuti ni vidjeti u ovom našem lijepom i pitomom prigorskom gradiću podno Kalnika.
Sve što je prije gotovo 30 godina izgledalo kao nemoguća misija, sada je pretvoreno u čistu realnost.
Idejni začetnik ove blues glazbene priče Dragutin Andrić, jednostavno me nazvao i ispričao što želi i pitao me jesam li za?! Naravno, nisam ni trenutka razmišljao već sam se aktivno uključio da bi kroz dvije večeri dobili ovakve izvođače.
Sve počinje izložbom fotografije '' Čarolija Bluesa'' i predstavljanjem knjige ''Zamrznuta glazba '' (Ex libris ) autora, poznatog hrvatskog glazbenog kritičara Davora Hrvoja, sive eminencije kada je u pitanju jazz, blues i pridružena im kvalitetna glazba.
Priču ''Keep the Blues Young'' će ovaj puta predvoditi Odin S i Westsidersi, slijede provjerena glazbena imena poput splitskih Harpoona predvođenih uvijek za akciju i uvijek je tu kada treba ''kopati'' da se izvodi i sluša blues ...on je ''Harp Master'' Predrag Lovrinčević -Lovre''. Uvjeren sam da će sve one, koji dođu i same križevčane, i naše drage goste ostaviti bez daha. Da, nećete stići ni predahnuti, niti ponovo duboko udahnuti a već će vas svojim bluesom , svojom glazbenom zapljusnuti novi plavičasti tsunsmi kojeg će vam prirediti Sunnysidersi koje predvodi Boris Hrepić - Hrepa uz sjajnu podršku Role, Baneta, Mihe i Tomija to je bend, koji će zatvoriti ovu uragansku prvu festivalsku večer ...možda nas počaste kakvim jam sessionom svi izvođači na kraju ove prve večeri Križevci Blues Festivala.
Treba se malo odmoriti jer pred nama je druga festivalska večer 31. kolovoza. Ova druga večer u znaku je bluesa koji će vas ponovo odvesti na ona mjesta o kojima ste tako puno sanjali i maštali.
Bok Blues je duo, koji čine Zoran Haraminčić i Davor Bunčić - Buna koji je btw. i aktualni predsjednik HBSa i čovjek koji stalno promiče ovaj glazbeni stil, Vjerujem da ćete uživati u njihovom nastupu.
''One & only the Croatian Harp Wizard'' ...Krešo ''Sonnyboy'' Oremuš i Small House Brown spremaju vam doslovno blues udar, koji ako niste dobro pripremljeni mogao bi vas baciti na tlo. Strašna kombinacija, r 'n'-la rocka, bluesa, boogija, rockabillyja i tko zna čega sve ne .. sve to zna kod njihovih nastupa odvaliti ekipu koja to voli.
Sam kraj festivala i njegovo zatvaranje ove godine pripalo je Tomislavu Golubanu i njegovom bendu. Još jedan ''Harp Master'' doslovno izgara da se po prvi put uživo predstavi ovoj našoj publici i uvjeren sam da će to biti itekako nadahnuto, snažno i upečatljivo.
Vjerujem da će svi, koji dođu biti zadovoljni i da će na kraju svega otići ispunjeni odličnim pozitivnim vibracijama.
Ne dvojite niti sekunde 30. & 31. kolovoza 2024 očekujemo vas u Križevcima !

Križevci Blues Festival August 30 and 31, 2024
I could hardly resist this poster! Namely, this festival is in a way the crown and confirmation of my media promotion of blues since 1996, when I first started this adventure, really not knowing what it would turn into. Today, all I wanted was to offer our city for the first time something that has never been heard or seen in this beautiful and tame mountain town at the foot of Kalnik.
Everything that almost 30 years ago seemed like an impossible mission, has now been turned into a pure reality.
The original creator of this blues music story, Dragutin Andrić, simply called me and told me what he wanted and asked me if I was in favor?! Of course, I didn't think for a moment, but actively got involved so that they would get performers like this over the course of two evenings.
It all begins with the exhibition of photographs of "Magic of Blues" and the presentation of the book "Frozen Music" (Ex libris) by the author, the famous Croatian music critic Davor Hrvoj, of great eminence when it comes to jazz, blues and the quality music associated with them.
The story "Keep the Blues Young" will be led this time by Odin S and the Westsiders, followed by proven musical names such as Harpoon from Split, always led for action and always there when you need to "dig" to perform and listen to blues ... he is "Harp Master" Predrag Lovrinčević-Lovre. I'm convinced that all those who come, including the citizens of Križevci themselves, will leave our dear guests breathless. Yes, you won't even have time to take a breather, nor take a deep breath again, but you will be overwhelmed with its blues and music by the new blue tsunsmi, which will be prepared by Sunnysiders led by Boris Hrepić - Hrepa with the great support of Rola, Banet, Miha and Tomija, this is a band that will close this hurricane-filled first festival night ... maybe we will be treated to some kind of jam session by all the performers at the end of this first night of the Križevci Blues Festival.
You need to rest a little because the second festival night is ahead of us on August 31. This second evening is dedicated to the blues, which will take you back to those places you've dreamed about so much.
Bok Blues is a duo consisting of Zoran Haraminčić and Davor Bunčić - Buna who is btw. and the current president of HBS and a man who constantly promotes this musical style, I believe you will enjoy their performance.
''One & only the Croatian Harp Wizard'' ...Krešo ''Sonnyboy'' Oremuš and Small House Brown prepare a literal blues blow for you, which if you are not well prepared, could throw you to the ground. Terrible combination, r'n'-la rock, blues, boogie, rockabilly and who knows what else... all of that knows how to blow away a team that loves it at their performances.
The very end of the festival and its closing this year belonged to Tomislav Goluban and his band. Another "Harp Master" is literally burning to present himself live to this audience of ours for the first time, and I am convinced that it will be very inspired, powerful and impressive.
I believe that everyone who comes will be satisfied and that at the end of it all, they will leave filled with excellent positive vibrations.
Do not hesitate for a second, on August 30 & 31, 2024, we are expecting you in Križevci!
